Do You Know What This Symbol Stands For? Most of us don’t, and it has a meaning that has been forgotten or Misrepresented by several religious groups.
In this description I will use only one or two references, and a few comments by others to describe it. PLEASE, do not discount this post because of the source of the information & if you have any doubts do your own search.

Symbol on the outside of the old Sheffield Masonic Hall, Surrey Street, Sheffield. Another mystifying masonic symbol. Four triangles set into an equilateral triangle
The Trinity doctrine is the religious edification of the equilateral triangle. The doctrine goes all the way back to ancient Egypt and Babylon. The Egyptians and Babylonians both had a Trinity. The Egyptian Trinity consisted of Osiris Father, Isis Mother and Horus Son.
Freemasons call geometry “sacred geometry”. The Bible calls creation only “good” not “sacred”. An equilateral triangle has three 60 degree angles and in occultic numerology used by the mystery religions of Babylon 60 reduces down to 6 because 6+0=6 so therefore an equilateral triangle is 666. It doesn’t matter if a triangle is equilateral or not because any triangle when you average out the angles still reduces down to 666 in numerology.
The trinity doctrine is defined such as: “The Father is God the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God and they are coeternal and coequal but yet there are not three Gods but one God.” This is not a description of God but the description of an equilateral triangle. Three 60 degree angles all equal but one triangle.
The false trinity doctrine can rightly be called monotheism because it is the worship of the equilateral triangle. Therefore the trinity doctrine is 666 the worship of creation rather then the One Creator Jehovah God who created all things through His Son Christ Jesus.
These are just a couple of the additional comment information on the site:
Beautiful representation of icon on Sheffield Masonic Hall, Surrey Street, Sheffield. This symbol is a complex portal to high spiritual consciousness – especially as first observed in early cultures! ~ It HAS to have arisen long after philosophical thinking arose!!! ~ So, best to reference verifiable scholarly sources on history of Deity-as-Trinity [if first observed in Egypt and Sumer?] !!! ~ Truth as dogma is suspect. It is vital to freely investigate truths by mental acumen and personal deliberation of fact.
Nice, now I will no longer fear 666 anymore (the movies that depict it as the sign of the beast made this so scary). Now I see why such numerology and mathematics coexisted in ancient civilizations. I even recall the Babylonians use of 6, being that they were known for their use of the 360-degrees. Perhaps numerology was used because they saw a witty relationship with the number and geometry, so assuming that numerology to me is one of the “ancient” predecessors for modern mathematics.
Lovely image, I wish to got there.
This is a Seurpinsky fractal generator (equivalent of writing x = 1, 2 … n — instead of writing the whole infinite sequence). This symbol is used in 4th degree of York Rite (called Royal Arch degree) in the setup of the Altar, where Ineffable Name is arranged from individual letters.
The reason this symbol is used in the above mentioned degree is that the Idea/Principle is in certain sense a “God” (qv. Plato – the world of ideas), and the underlying arranging pattern of the Universe/Multiverse is a fractal principle. We live at the boundary of the collapse of the Fire and Ice streams, and this boundary is fractal.
thank you for this beautiful photo by the way; I never had a time to research if this symbol is used anywhere else in Freemasonry, since I saw it for the first time during my 4th degree York Rite ritual.
“The triangle above is a triality. Father, son, holy spirit–the center is the sacred heart the part that connects to all 3. It is all interconnected for we are ALL part of the whole. I have had visions of this multiple times in my life. The triangle is a importance reference in most rituals–water, air, fire (elemental magic) as well as more Christian based faiths.”~ Amy Hanson Baker
Although Christianity teaches that the 666 number is the mark of the beast and evil, according to this it is not. It is merely the dimensions of the symbol Christianity also claims that the pagan symbol (Pentacle/Pentagram) is evil & does not teach that they ever used it as a symbol of their beliefs ( which they did) OR that it was one of the symbols first selected for consideration as the symbol of Jerusalem.
According to this site:
the majority of symbols that are not of a certain belief system are evil. Although in reality they are not.
This site does have some very good descriptions of symbols, however I did not see this one specifically. The surprising description was of the Lion & the Original meaning.
As with any research remember that it is presented based on the writer’s point of view.
