HAWAIIAN DREAM CAKE
This is worth making! A moist cake covered with a cream cheesecake layer and topped with fresh fruit and toasted coconut.

HAWAIIAN DREAM CAKE

CAKE LAYER:
1 pkg yellow cake mix (*or make Hawaiian Wedding Cake from scratch – see below)
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained, (reserve juice for pkg yellow cake mix)

CHEESECAKE LAYER:
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 (3-oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 cup cold milk
1 (9-ounce) container cool whip

TOP LAYER:
Nuts, optional (chopped pecans, macadamia or pistachio) Toasted coconut, also optional
Fresh, chopped or sliced fruit of your choice

CAKE INSTRUCTIONS: Prepare cake mix according to package directions,

using the reserved pineapple juice and water for the liquid called for in the directions.
